3.91kg when you were born so big and strong
Black eyes, dark brown hair and 53cm long!
You had your mum's face and no doubt would have dad's charm,
Your breathtaking smile...

Memories so bad they cut to the grain
My hopes and dreams were shattered when you left
I had to pick up the pieces and try to do my best
Its hard to be brave and say its ok
when you really you don't want to face another day

You fought so hard against all odds
You were the unfortunate one in a million they said…..
When they called us into that room, I think we knew
that we were going to have to have to let you go
In my head I screamed out ‘oh no'!
When that heartbreaking moment came, it felt like a knife,
going straight into our hearts.. .
the pain to remain for the rest of our lives

The vows we took couldn't keep us together
No matter how hard I tried, it wasn't going to be forever...
